The dimly lit bar was filled with people wearing their everyday faces, hoping to shed them for a few hours and become someone else. The atmospheric music hung in the air, a perfect accompaniment to the fantasies that danced through the patrons’ minds. And then she walked in.
Her presence commanded attention. Tall, statuesque, exuding confidence and an aura of raw power. She was dressed in a tight-fitting black dress that hugged every curve of her body, stopping just below her knees to reveal a pair of towering stilettos. Her hair was pulled back into a severe updo, revealing her flawless neck. Every step she took seemed to shake the very foundation of the building.
As she made her way to the bar, heads turned and eyes followed her every move. The bartender, a seasoned veteran of the nightlife scene, couldn’t help but feel a tingle of nervous anticipation. He straightened his posture and cleared his throat, preparing to serve the woman who could quite literally crush him underfoot.
“What can I get for you, ma’am?” he asked, his voice betraying just a hint of anxiety. She turned to him, her deep green eyes piercing right through him. For a moment, he felt as if he were being weighed and measured, and found wanting. But then, she smiled.
“I’m here for the new guy,” she said, her voice deep and velvety. “Tell him I’m here to take him for a ride.” The bartender frowned, confused. “New guy?” he asked. “I don’t recall any newcomers tonight.”
“Just tell him,” she insisted, her voice growing impatient. “Tell him the one in the tight black dress is here for him.” With that, she turned away from the bar and made her way further into the club, her hips swaying to the music. The bartender watched her go, a sense of wonder and dread washing over him. Who was this woman? And who was the “new guy” she was talking about?
