It was a sunny day at school, and Scarlett was walking home with her best friend Melanie. They chatted about the upcoming summer vacation, excited for the long break from studying. As they approached Scarlett’s house, Melanie suggested they play a game of one-on-one basketball in Scarlett’s backyard. Scarlett agreed, and they headed to her house, their sneakers squeaking against the sidewalk.
Once they arrived at Scarlett’s house, they quickly changed into their shorts and tank tops, grabbing a basketball from the garage. The backyard was spacious, with a tall privacy fence surrounding it. Melanie was a bit surprised at how tall the fence was, but she shrugged it off, thinking nothing of it. Scarlett had always been a bit of an athlete, so she wasn’t surprised that she had a full-sized basketball hoop in her backyard.
They started playing, their sneakers squeaking against the pavement as they ran back and forth. The game was intense, with both girls trying their best to score. As they played, Melanie noticed that Scarlett was unusually distracted. She kept glancing over the fence, her brow furrowed in concentration. Melanie assumed she was just thinking about something else and didn’t say anything.
After a few more minutes of play, Melanie managed to score a basket. “Yes! In your face, Scarlett!” she teased, laughing. Suddenly, Scarlett’s face went pale, and she dropped the basketball. “Scarlett? What’s wrong?” Melanie asked, concerned.
“I… I just realized something,” Scarlett said, her voice shaking. She pointed towards the tall privacy fence, her finger trembling. “Look at the height of that fence.”
Melanie followed her finger, her eyes widening in shock. She could see what Scarlett was getting at. The privacy fence was taller than either of them, blocking out the view of anything beyond it. “Oh my god, Scarlett. You’re not thinking about what I think you’re thinking, are you?”
Scarlett nodded, her cheeks flushing red. “I… I think I am. Melanie, I’ve had this little crush on you for a while now. But seeing you like this, so tall and dominant, it’s just… I can’t help but wonder what it would be like to be with you.” She bit her lip, waiting for Melanie’s response.
Melanie was taken aback by Scarlett’s confession. She had never expected Scarlett to feel that way about her. But the more she thought about it, the more it turned her on. “I’ve had feelings for you too, Scarlett,” she admitted, her voice quivering with excitement. “But what about your parents? What if they find out?”
Scarlett shrugged nonchalantly. “I don’t know. We’ll figure it out together, won’t we?” She stepped closer to Melanie, their bodies almost touching. “For now, let’s just focus on exploring these new feelings we have for each other.” She reached out and gently traced her fingers along Melanie’s jawline, her heart racing with anticipation.
