“What… what is that thing?” James asked, taking a hesitant step forward to get a better look. Despite his curiosity, he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something sinister lurking beneath Lady Alice’s playful demeanor.

James swallowed hard, his heart racing as he contemplated the implications of what Lady Alice was asking him to do. “My lady, I’m not sure I can—” “Oh, but you can, James,” she interrupted, a sly smile playing on her lips. “And you will. With that chilling warning echoing in his ears, James knew there was no turning back. Slowly, he approached the table, his heart pounding in his chest. As he climbed into the small seat and clung onto the sides for dear life, he felt the cold steel of the rings pressing against his back, trapping him in place.
“Ready, James?” Lady Alice’s voice purred in his ear, sending shivers down his spine. “Because once I start this, there’s no stopping it.”
With that, she flipped a switch on the side of the device, and the chains began to move, pulling the rings towards the ceiling. James felt his stomach drop as he was lifted off the ground, his body being stretched and contorted in ways he never thought possible. The pain was intense, but the thrill of it was exhilarating.
As he dangled helplessly between the two massive rings, James looked down at Lady Alice, who was watching him with a mixture of amusement and anticipation. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” he gasped, his voice barely audible over the creaking of the chains.
Lady Alice laughed, the sound echoing around the room. “Of course I am,” she replied, her blue eyes glinting with excitement. “After all, this is my favorite part of the game.”
James closed his eyes, trying to block out the sight of Lady Alice’s avid gaze as he continued to be pulled higher and higher into the air. The pain was becoming unbearable, but he couldn’t help but feel a twisted sense of pleasure from the thrill of it all.
Just when he thought he couldn’t take any more, the chains came to a sudden halt, leaving him suspended in mid-air. “Now what?” he murmured, his voice trembling with fear and anticipation.
