The Mean Girls Tower Over You
You find yourself standing in a dark, deserted alleyway, the sound of distant sirens echoing through the empty streets. You realize you’re not alone as you feel a pair of gigantic feet stepping onto the pavement behind you. Slowly, the towering figures of three mean girls from your high school come into view, their towering frames blocking out what little light there was.
With a sinister grin, the tallest of the mean girls, Whitney, speaks in that condescending tone you know all too well. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t the new kid,” she says, her voice echoing off the walls. “What are you doing here, fresh meat?”
You swallow hard, feeling your heart race as you look up at their towering forms. Each of them stands several stories tall, dwarfing even the tallest of buildings. They loom over you, their every movement causing the ground to shake slightly beneath your feet.
“I-I-I was just… umm…” you stutter, your brain struggling to process the sheer size of these monstrous girls. “I-I-I was lost,” you finally manage to say, your voice barely audible next to their thundering footsteps.
“Lost, huh?” the second mean girl, Maddie, scoffs. “Well, we’ll make sure you find your way.” She leans down, her face just inches from yours, and smirks maliciously. “And we might just have some fun while we’re at it.”
You try to back away, but there’s nowhere to go. You’re surrounded by these towering giants, and they know it. As if sensing your fear, the third mean girl, Chloe, steps forward, her expression one of pure delight.
“Oh, this is going to be good,” she says, her voice full of glee. “Let’s see how much fun we can have with our little plaything here.”
Suddenly, you feel yourself being picked up off the ground, your entire body dwarfed by the massive hand that’s holding you. You let out a shrill scream, but it’s swallowed up by the wind as the girls begin to tower over you, their faces looming closer and closer.
In that moment, you realize that you’re completely at their mercy. There’s no escape, no way to resist their overwhelming power. All you can do is pray that they don’t break you like they’ve broken so many others before.
The girls continue to tower over you, their massive bodies casting long shadows across the alleyway. You feel like you’re in a nightmare that you can’t wake up from. As you look up at their towering figures, all you can think is: “Please, please don’t let this be real.” But deep down, you know that it is. These are the mean girls from your high school, and they’re going to make sure you remember them for the rest of your life… if you have one left at all.
