GTSDelights Presents: “Long Month By” – Chapter 1
The sun was just starting to set over the bustling cityscape when Emily, a tall and slender young woman, stepped out of her office building after a long day at work. She couldn’t help but feel a twinge of excitement as she looked up at the towering skyscrapers that surrounded her, their reflections dancing in the windows of passing buses and cars. It was times like these when she felt completely insignificant, dwarfed by the grandeur of the urban jungle that surrounded her.
Emily pulled her coat tighter around her shoulders, trying to ward off the evening chill that seemed to seep into her bones. She glanced down at her phone, noticing that she had missed another call from her mother. She sighed, knowing that it was probably just another lecture about settling down and finding a man. She had tried explaining to her mother countless times that work was her priority, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.
As she navigated her way through the crowded sidewalks, Emily’s mind began to wander. She couldn’t help but feel a sense of longing deep inside her. A longing for something she couldn’t quite put her finger on. It was then that she spotted him, standing at the corner of the street, leaning casually against a lamppost. His eyes were locked onto hers, and she felt an immediate connection.
His name was Jack, and he was everything that Emily wasn’t. Tall, muscular, and oozing confidence, he stood a full foot taller than her. He smiled, revealing a row of perfect white teeth, and approached her. “Hey, gorgeous,” he said, his voice a deep rumble that sent shivers down her spine. “Mind if I buy you a drink?”
Emily hesitated for a moment, torn between her better judgment and the undeniable pull she felt towards him. But before she could answer, Jack reached out and took her hand, leading her towards a nearby bar. As they walked, Emily couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. She had never been one to take risks, but there was something about Jack that made her feel alive.
They sat down at a table in the corner of the bar and ordered drinks. Jack laughed at her choice of a light beer, suggesting something stronger instead. Emily took a tentative sip of her drink, feeling the warmth spread through her body. She looked up at Jack, noticing for the first time how his eyes seemed to sparkle in the dim light of the bar. “So, Emily,” he said, leaning in close, his breath warm against her ear. “Tell me, what is it that you really want?”
Emily hesitated, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew what she wanted, deep down inside, but she had never dared to voice it aloud. “I…I want to feel small,” she whispered, her voice barely audible even to her own ears. “I want to be…taken care of.”
Jack smiled, a predatory glint in his eyes. “Well,” he said, reaching across the table to take her hand. “It just so happens that I know someone who can help you with that.”
