Serena turned to face him, her eyes shining with a mixture of tenderness and mischief. “This,” she said, gesturing to the waterfall, “is your destiny.” Without another word, she stepped forward, her body engulfing him once more. Together, they disappeared into the wall of water, leaving nothing but a rainbow-hued spray in their wake.
