As he climbed onto it, the scale groaned under his weight. Andrea watched as the numbers began to tick upwards, her expression remaining impassive.
The scale rattled and groaned as the weight of his crimes became apparent. It creaked under the strain, threatening to snap at any moment. The defendant trembled, his eyes wide with fear as he watched the numbers grow higher and higher. Suddenly, the scale gave way, sending him plummeting towards the ground below.
As he fell, Andrea looked down upon him, her expression unreadable. “This is what happens when one tries to cheat the system,” she said, her voice cold and detached. “Justice has been served. The scale of justice balances once again.” With that, she turned and walked out of the courtroom, leaving the fallen man to his fate.
