The Giantess’s Reckoning
The world had changed. It was as if some great force had reached down and rearranged the very fabric of reality itself. Her presence was intoxicating, drawing people toward her like moths to a flame, regardless of the danger they knew they were courting.

The giantess considered this for a moment, her eyes raking over the group before her. Then, to their astonishment, she nodded. “Very well,” she said. “You have shown your devotion. You may rise.”
As one, the group stood, their hearts filled with a mixture of awe and disbelief. The giantess had spared them, had seen fit to bestow her mercy upon them. From that day forth, they pledged themselves to her service, determined to prove their worth to the towering figure who had chosen to spare them from certain doom.
