Jason felt a warmth spreading through his body at her words. Ramatpun laughed, a deep, throaty sound that sent shivers down Jason’s spine. “Of course I am, Jason,” she said, standing up tall and stretching her arms overhead. “You always did like your tall girls, didn’t you?” She stepped closer, her towering frame casting a shadow over him.
For a moment, Jason felt himself being engulfed by her presence. But then she reached out and wrapped an enormous hand around his shoulder, pulling him close. “Don’t be afraid, Jason,” she whispered in his ear. “Let’s see where this adventure takes us.” And with that, she leaned down and pressed her lips against his, their hearts beating in tandem as they began to explore a shared past and an uncertain future.
